Wanna show the graph where it shows Life Expenctancy?

I'm sure it has increased. So by your logic... We should be getting shot; not retiring at age 60 ;)

Oh and btw, i have taken no side in the life vs choice argument. In other words, i'd like it to be about reason, not passion. Both sides ussualy forget reason.

Certain people should

I think the overpopulation graph is all reason, not passion - I'm just throwing it in to support every woman's right to choose to contribute to that appalling behavior of our species or not.

But the overpopulation graph can certainly be matched with a life expenctancy graph, and you would see over population can be easily attributed to natality and longevity. If you see most developed nations have a natality problem (ie aging populations), so by that logic, like i said, people should be getting shot instead of promoting abortion/birth control measures as their answer.

My point is: i dont approve of abortion; but i believe we should have the choice. There is no way in hell some dumbass politician should be deciding on lives he is certainly not going to be responsible for. Same with religion.... You can believe what you want, but the moment you tell me what i shoul believe in, that's when you get a big middle finger.

Those countries with what you call a "natality" problem can and most of them do make up for that via net gains in immigration. But that's not the issue. The issue is the WORLD population has been exploding. Fewer babies = fewer people on Earth, hence: NEVER make abortions illegal, make it an option available in safe, clean medical facilities.

No way. Most those countries actually havent been able to implement a succesful immigration plan to make up for the problem. Spain, italy, germany.... Waaay behind. Canada, despite having one of the most organized immigration program, can't keep up.

Countering birth control through abortion makes no sense. In fact, the case for 'choice' is made for health and extraordinary conditions; under those conditions the ammount of unsuccesful births would pale vs population boom. No politician would be bold enough to propose abortion as a safe and healthy way to control population growth. If that were the case, then global warming is much more efficient ;) and homosexuality has proven much more efficient as well.

I tell you; the problem is we live too long. Time to support proper 'retirement plans'... And while we're at it: broaden the legalization of same umpalumpa marriage and forget worrying about global warming.
