Tesco apparently have made an aproach to Super Aguri to sponsor them for the 2006 season.

Tesco (Britains number one supermarket) are trying to get further into the Asian market as they already own shops throughout China.

With an all Japanese line up they are hoping to launch a string of new shops there very soon.

Tesco are also opening up shops throughout Europe and America in the coming months.

I used to work for this company, and know that they've been in those countries for quite some time now. I agree that branding on F1 cars could develop a stronger 'international' reputation. I can't remember what series it is, but they already sponsor a rally car.
