I love it..... Jailed for 8 years - banned for driving for 4. How is he going to be able to cope for the second half of his jail sentence without a driving license!!

(im sure the driving ban will start after his custodial sentence, but it made me chuckle anyway)

That happens in LA on a weekly basis... except there, they get off in three months. If they're lucky they get their @sses kicked a bit by the LAPD, and their lawyer submits a suit alleging excessive police brutality and they get 3 to 5 million in a settlement. Good work if you can get it.
