What is interesting is despite the different systems, one thing doesnt change. Alonso still has a lead equivalent to 1.6-1.7 races (40 on current, 16 on 2009 system and 17 on 2002)

Ive been watching it since 1950 and I prefer the points system them - MUCH better than the 10-6-4-3-2-1 bollocks.
