just amazing

what else can you say really

[Jabberwocky]

To make my point clear. I am not for or against abortion, it is just that his remark is not a thought out remark that has no scientific proof to it.

[racechick]

Well that just beggars belief!!!! And people are voting for this guy

[paulad]

He later stated he was "misspoken" and his remarks were "off the cuff".
Its going to take alot more back peddalling to get out of that one!
And I've love to hear his definition of "legitimate ****"

[racechick]

And apparently a woman's body knows whether its legitimate or not

[What's Burning?]

The sad thing is that this is currently the mainstream of the Republican party in America. There's example after example of idiots like this all over congress and the current VP pick for Romney has the exact position and voting record on women's reproductive issues as Akin does.

Take a look and and you'll see how mainstream this really is. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/#48732520" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

How long until the statement "It was not **** because she is pregnant" is used in a court room

[Hammer278]

So whenever someone rapes him, he has the excuse of saying it's illegitimate since he never gets pregnant. Brilliant!

[What's Burning?]

Wanna laugh? I just found out that this guy is on the Congressional Science and Technology Committee.

Yup, the classic GOP dumb arse.
Here's Bill Maher's take on a similar dumb arse from back when (watch after 2:15)

[myownalias]

He's a republican, none of them have any morals or intelligence, clearly republican states ration brain cells, just look at Kansas, case and point!

[f1ea]

People are all over the legitimate **** bit... But how about:
"the female body has ways to shut that thing down"

LOL WTF!!
What with all dem buttons and new technology and stuff they's got nowadays....

What is it with all this BS about abortion and the so called 'legalities'?! It's a woman's body, they should be allowed to do whatever the hell they want. They're the ones who have to carry another body around for 9 months and live through all of the emotional and physical baggage to do with pregnancy.

The world is full of stupid people who [seemingly have to] say stupid things. Is nothing sacred any more?! Whatever happened to individuality?! Are we all just robots now serving someone who thinks they are bigger than the rest of us?!

So... If they have to carry 'another' body for 9 months, then how can it be 'a woman's' body?
So... Is individuality more sacred than life?

Interesting.
