Yes I did like Mansell. And I will admit that I was a fan of his as well. Not that I got to see most of his races live (too young) but I did support Mansell over Senna when he was running for the title in Williams in 1991 and 1992 (He won 1992) and also Mansell's Indy car years interested me. (Only because Mansell was there). With Ferrari giving the better car to Prost. Didn't surprise me if it was true. (Back in 1990) Was dumb though as they lost Mansell as a result who was such a fine driver and later when on to win the title for Williams (1992).

Ferrari was a bad place to go in the early 90's. The team was full of politics especially after Alain Prost arrived (and then got sacked), and drivers like Capelli who came in from family like atmospheres at March/Leyton House never lasted long. Perhaps the best thing Jean Todt has done in his years in F1 was to stop the politics within Ferrari when he took over as team boss in 1993.

Noooo
I meant now?
he would be a world champion if he went to ferrari now?
people have totally gone off the subject.
& No ferrari isn't a bad place to go, Other wise they wouldn't be the most dominating team in Formula one now wouldn't they?

Give jenson a Mclaren

Ron Dennis has said he doesn't want him. Why? Because he doubts his skill and commitment, like a lot of people. Button is another Tim Henman. Some flashes of skill, but not good enough to cut it at the top. His team mates have generally outpaced him (save in 2007), but Button's smoother style meant his car lasted longer than his team mate's, hence he picked up some points. His time is passed. Who would give him a drive in a top team when you have people such as Hamilton, Heidfeld, Kubica, Rosberg, Vettel et al. who are much younger and skilled ready and waiting.

NH is almost 31 and thus, older than JB. But I agree with your analysis :)

True. Thanks for that. The thing about Heidfeld though is he looks like he is going somewhere and is giving all the correct sound bites, for example, being prepared to work at things. All Button does is wallow in self pity.

Here I disagree with you - JB doesn't wallow in self pity - instead I'd say he's got his head up his arse!:lol::lol:
