My two cents -

androids are nice because there are sooooooooooooooo many free apps you can get. I've just heard bad things about how you usually gotta pay for a lot of extras on apple products. Think of it like apple is a nice car but only gets 10mpg (or kilometers per litre? for UK folks lol) whereas android may be not quite as luxurious but gets 30kpl (is that what y'all call it?) :hehe: iPad might cost you more with the apps and such over time.

but like moa and wb said, check it out for yourself at the store and see what you like! Make sure to ask a sales rep about

And anybody, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about the pricing on iPad apps :D I just wanna make sure racechick gets the best bang for the buck!

Oh, and don't forget apple releases a new version every other month it seems, so whatever you buy from apple will be obsolete by the end of the year :irked:

ah k, thanks for the clarification 8-)

Everything else is metric though, well except pints in the pub but everything else, weight of bananas, litre of milk, time, grams of tobacco.
If you're talking about your weight then it's either stones of kilos and TVs are in inches and cm.

Roadsigns are in miles but we buy petrol (that's gas for US folks) per litre but still talk of mpg.

Soo glad we got rid of the old money, it makes no sense at all.

There are quite a few free apps, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, shopping apps like eBay and Amazon, Kindle etc. I have found that there are lots of apps that appear to be free initially but charge after a short time of use, like an "enter more coins to continue" system, this is especially true with games. Some apps have limited functionality but you'll need to pay to use all the features.

I want to say that's so weird, but it does make sense to measure it that way.
