It was Hugo Chavez's fault.

And why is that so?

I think that was just a political joke. Chavez is pretty funny... almost up there with Putin.

Well, I don't think that he is funny and especially not Putin. How would you like for someone to say that the hole american government, senate and politics are funny? Just for an example.

So now weve gone from the fact the cars "are hard to drive, so we cant blame him" to, "it could be mechanical failure"?

How many excuses are you going to come up with for him? I bet even Karthikeyan could manage more than 2 laps without crashing it. :hehe:

It's called hypothesising. It's better than jumping to conclusions 'cos you're desperate to hate someone.

I dont hate Maldonado. Up until the last race, I actually had him in my dream team. BUT the guy continues to prove he isnt cut to be in F1. Not all great GP2 drivers can make it into F1.

I thought Putin was quite a good leader, or at least that's how it seemed from the outside looking in? Better than yon slimey grinning twit and the dour Fifer that we had to endure. Let's face it - out of all the world leaders, Putin was the political Chuck Norris. :hehe:

Well in America it's perfectly okay to say that, while in Russia Pussy Riot may get three years in prison. I mean, jail time for crappy music is one thing but they don't deserve to go be imprisoned for complaining about their government.

I wonder if he'd have done better than Fisi and Badoer filling in for Massa in the Ferrari.

I've lived under communism, fascism and under a capitalist democracy, I though I'd covered quite a bit of political experience.

Things are always changing, but the goals remain the same. That's all I will say and we will end this discussion. OK?

How much more embarrassment can Frank take? When does the money breakeven with the embarrassment and reach a tipping point where the cash is no longer worth it?

Personally I hope sooner rather than later, but that Venezuelan money has been the ultimate Godsend for the maniac...and a real pain in the a**e for all the other drivers racing around him.

The most ironic of all, PM is a race-winner. FW might have better grounds to kick PM out if he didn't win a race, but we all have to feel for Williams at the moment, they are lacking the funding required to make significant progress.

Let's see what happens when FIA or the paddock says PM is too much for F1, and PM having to give up his super license.

Is it possible that FW and the team is secretly hoping to get rid of PM because of all those negative (sometimes embarrassing) moments on/off track? Other than PDVSA, if you are a new sponsor looking to inject funds in to an F1 team, I am sure Williams will not be on top of the list given what's happened.
