And why is that so? If you did it 2 times so far and it was great, then you shouldn't stop. You don't expect that she'll stay loyal to your "friend" and won't repeat the same thing with someone else? And if you like each other, there is no point in lying to the poor man.

I'm just saying...

I had umpalumpa with that one chick again. It was great. Probably the last time though. We decided to "break up" because if we keep this going, everything will just fall into a downward spiral

Keep the protection on, and there's no spiral son.

I spent the day doing absolutely nothing apart from trying to stay awake.

A 55 hour week with a bit of a cold and (at times) doing 2 jobs at once is a bit tiring and a new game starts at 7am tomorrow! I must be mad!

I went and begrudgingly bought a Apple iPad 2; not for me; but for my son; because the iPad is the only device that has the software he needs to help him with his speech therapy... It pisses me off that this software (Conversation Builder) is only available on the iPad, not available on Android or PC; I wonder how much cash Apple are paying them to develop exclusively for iPad/iPhone

Myown, if your son needs the Ipad for educational reasons isn't it provided by the education department?

@GeetfaceWhy stop geetface? maybe its something special??

You'd think something that could be of huge benefit to who knows who many kids would be available on Windows as well! It's a shame that it is not.

This is my sentiments exactly; but in business, it's all about maximising profit, Apple pay these companies to exclusively develop for the iPad/iPhone/iPod because they know that this is essential software for so many children out there. Meaning to get the software to help your child, you'll have to spend out several hundred dollars to get the hardware to use a $20 piece of software!

Not in the United States, everything needed for school needs to be paid for; even in the public school system... the iPad/software is not educational per se; it's about helping him develop his speech and sentence building, he is autistic and needs more help than most of his class mates.

That's it, you're on the slippery Apple slope... soon you'll be achin for a MacBook Pro. :hehe:

The Apple OS and kids seem to go together, I've seen a child with down syndrome be able to pick out an iPad and intuitively know how to work it. Like Apple or not, their human interface is far and away better. There's a reason why the iPad outsells all other tablets combined, be a long shot.

I have come to the conclusion that the whole Apple/Android battle is very much like playing a game on a PC.

If you want to plug and play and know that the hardware is good enough to run the game then go for Apple as you would a gaming console.

However IMHO Android gives more control over the system, but as the hardware is not controlled there is a varying standard of device it is running. SWMBO has a Galaxy Ace (an oldish one) and it just makes the OS slow and annoying to use. I have a HTC Sensation (which has a lot better hardware) and Android is a totally different beast. My tablet is a low end android device and that runs OK. So I think you get what you pay for. Just like buying a PC compared to a console. I personally would rather have a high end Android than an iPhone.

My feedback was strictly tablet related. When it comes to phones, there is little in the way of innovation any more (from a hardware standpoint) and most differences are OS related, Android is simply too fragmented and it's suffered because of it in the corporate environment. Apple is in the enterprise today where RIM was five years ago, completely dominant.

I get a new device sent to me every month or two for testing and I don't even get excited opening up boxes any more because there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to smartphone hardware sadly. At this point all I want is a device that I can go three days without charging. Hell... two days.

Over my dead body... I mean that literally, I'd rather take my own life than buy a Mac...

Yes, it's a nice interface and it's easy to use, can't argue with that, but Android is getting better all the time, that's the nature of open source software. Reports seem to suggest that Apple's market share is getting smaller as cheaper android devices flood the market. I'm an Android through and through, mainly because of Apple's business ethics, trying to get rival devices banned instead of competing fairly.

Put it this way. The bird does things that you're friend will never be able to do. Keep going and fill yer boots.:hehe:
