Quite a medal haul for the US in the last couple of days.

But on a more important note, I watched Rhythmic Gymnastics today. :yikes: still trying to figure out how bodies can flex that way while effortlessly flowing through space.

First of all, there are certain standards that MUST be pleased. On these Olympic games they were NOT pleased in a way they were in China. I'm just naming certain examples, ones that annoy me currently. Graphics are one of those standards, let's face it, this is 21st century and asking is high.

And no, I'm not watching poor broadcasters, I'm watching almost the same ones as you. And they can talk as much as they want, they talked before, many times, but I want to see it. Other thing, if you watched tennis and that stupid moments of watching replays in the middle of the point and stuff like that. And on Wimbledon, FFS, the temple of tennis?! Does that ring a bell?

I believe there is nothing wrong with the graphics.

No, I cannot hear any bells.

It's because you are too partial on the matter.

British people are the most negative and self-hating nation to live. We rubbish everything we do. 3 weeks ago if you'd have surveyed the British public, most of us would of predicted the Games would be a 100% disaster. So the fact that the majority of Brits only have good things to say about it, actually speaks volumes.

And yes, after all that you tend to glorify everything you did. Point proven.

I think it's gone quite well, it's a huge event, and the media were looking to publicise any problems.

The events have been sweetly organised and the venues look fantastic, crowd and fans all seem very happy, it's pretty efficient, loads of staff and volunteers around directing the crowds, answering questions, agreeing to take photos for people etc.

Yes, proven!

There is 1 thing that British fans do well (some of home viewers in the past weren't so "friendly"):

THEY RESPECT!

Proven??

1966. England has been getting excited over that for 46 years! Evey time there is an international match on the commentators start banging on about 1966 and Bobby Moore.
