Decided (albeit very late on :hehe: ) to merge these two threads seeing as it's the same thing.

I Quote

"McLaren
Assorted chunterers can be heard musing that Hamilton is driving the best he ever has this season. Certainly, it is a maturer figure in that yellow helmet – but the impression that Hamilton is not living up to his potential cannot be escaped. When a puncture threatened his race in Germany, his petulant call to retire would have been unthinkable from an Alonso or a Vettel. And yet, and yet. He is still for my money the fastest man in the sport over a given lap. An outside bet for the title, if McLaren provide him with the tools he wants. 6/10
It’s perhaps cruel to say that Jenson Button is having a journeyman year, but his mystifying penchant for going AWOL throughout entire race weekends (in terms of performance) does rather suggest it. Whatever your view, real inconsistency from the Brit means that he will have to pull some serious results from the bag if he is to challenge this year. 5/10"

WHA WHA WHA WHAAAAA? 6/10 for hamilton? how do you possibly justify that when he has made zero errors this year? an 8 at LEAST if not a 9 like fernando was in order! especially giving Button 5 just one point behind! :banghead: he seems to justify this by saying hamilton was "petulant" at germany, have you not heard half of Seb's radio calls? Where do you find these guys?

Bit of an understatement that the puncture threatened his race.

What a freaking joke, Hamilton 1 point ahead of Button in the half term report? And 6/10 for his driving? Has he been WATCHING races this year?

Who is this clown of an author anyway, some primary school dropout? LOL GTFO

That's because Schumacher hasn't retired from races this year with car problems.

.... um

... erm

... I mean hasn't been petulant before retiring.

Schumachers retirements have just been unlucky, like when Senna drove into him in Spain. Hamiltons problems with wheelnuts and jacks and the puncture, underfueling, and crashing into Maldonado have all been his own doing.

After the first race of the season he came up with this, I think it says it all:

Now, where's Button's letter? Maybe Massa would like one too, or does he just have a thing for Lewis?
