Everytime i'm watching the track cycling, team GB are just ripping the track apart, World or Olympic records and getting the gold too. Just total dominance

The Brits have always had a good track cycling history and pedigree. Top that with the epitome of home court advantage, and voila! instant success.

So, the common wisdom says that the organizer country of the Olympics usually gets a 'home boost' and wins about 50% more medals than usual (according to some report I saw the other day).
Well, so far the UK have been quite shìte :yikes:

Maybe should have waited until the first week was complete before saying that...:hehe:

Third are we at the moment?? :P:P

Australia with 1 gold so far, this could be a Olympics to forget. The only serious chances for gold left for the Aussies are the 100m hurdles with Sally Pearson, womens sprint with Anna Mears (looking forward to Pendleton v Mears, its going to be epic) and perhaps the womens and mens Hockey. Normally most of the aussie gold has come from the pool but 2012 has been a failure for Australia's high standards in swimming.

team GB are just owning track cycling, no doubt about it. And if Pendleton didn't go too early in the team sprint, they would have won that aswell.

Please Federer...I'm no fan of yours but I might become one if you win this.

Edit

Okay looks like it's Murray's medal. :wavey-finger: you Federer. Couldn't have played worse.
