Just remember - Hamilton had a big mouth last year and far more incidents than Maldonado to match. But we all have ups and downs. I don't agree with Vettel on his opinion of Hamilton lapping him, but I also cannot fathom why he is now part of a hate campaign....

But what's done is done... Words don't matter in F1. It's the racing that does the talking. Here are the stats:

That's what's happening on the track at the moment. Vettel and Lewis can do all the talking they want - it won't change the results! They've got nothing on our Australian cricket team when it comes to sledging anyway.

Who cares if Lewis is faster after putting on a fresh set of tires? Lewis qualified well behind Vettel and would have finished behind Vettel, with or without the incidents.

I still think Hamilton attempting to unlap himself is one the best highlights I've seen of him, and one of the reasons why I like him so much.

Fans will be fans, you just have to grin and bear it. In 2011 Vettel fans were coming out of the woodwork, that he was the greatest driver the sport had ever seen, no one better at getting the most out of a car, youngest ever everything, blah blah blah. Now it's his turn to vent frustrations through the media, he's struggling against his team mate and against a guy who started the season out driving a pig.

Hamilton had 6 or 7 penalties plus other incidents that weren't investigated? I think Maldonado is currently at 4. But he's not too far away.

After-race penalties are set to match the projected time of a drive-through during the race. A Spa drive-through is longer than one at the Hungaroring, hence the difference in penalties. But yes; Lewis's penalty was a bit dubious, given that he gave the place back.
