I went to the Trout Pub in Oxford, it is where they used to film some of Inspector Morse.

Did you sit outside with a pint in the glorious sunshine? :)

 Was with SWMBO, SWMBO's Nan, and Boy No2.

Morse and Lewis where not in attendance.

To be honest, Morse might have driven away some of the patrons. His current state is probably none to conducive to creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Did a full service for my machine and installed angel eyes at this accessory shop! (After almost a year of consideration) Looking pretty now. :cloud9:

The headlight installation took almost 4 hours btw, with the poor guy cussing and swearing every 5 minutes. I bet he'd just run away next time he sees an E34 approach his accessory shop. :hehe:

You're kidding me!! I'd be stopping the car every five seconds!! You sure they're Marmots and not Praire dogs? They're from the same family.

Prairie dogs are out west!
Here marmots generally refereed to as groundhogs, but it's basically the same thing since it's in the Marmota genus. :) I can't believe you've never heard of Groundhog's day and Punxsutawney Phil

That looks like a gorgeous pub. Will add it to the "must visit" list. A very achievable aim. Living in London, I'm only a bus ride away from Oxford.

Me? Catch one? I'm more the get someone to catch it for me, not a hunter/trapper or anything of the sort. Did cavemen have engineers?

So when I get and Amish guy to get one for you RC, what do I do with it?

Er...post it over to me? I thought if they were all hanging around your motorways they'd be easy to catch? You could tempt them with something. You have to sneak up on them from down wind. Do I mean down wind or upwind? -the way where the wind blows your smell away from the marmot). Because they're nervous and they have a very good sense of smell. But they don't see so well.'
