Get drunk, stoned, laid or all 3?

In this heat?!?! The former is the only option!

And I've had two pints of ale after work anyway, so I'm done for the night!

Sleep, I wish, I am working nights. Worst of all my Storage Pen has died so all the films I had to watch tonight are not working. :-( I might have to do some work instead

I recall working nights a few years ago at Argos, when I was 18. Good gracious, that was an experience. It was quite nice keeping an eye on what was going on in the town centre as the hours went by.

You start off with the party-goers, who gradually dwindled in number, until only one or two were left drunkenly feeling their way home. Then for a couple of hours, you'd just have two clocks for company. The one by the bus station, which rang out a Westminster Chime, and the Town Hall Clock, which was always slightly out of time, and two hours behind. Then 6 o'clock would come, the milk float would shake and rattle around, and all was well...

I've never worked nights and I don't intend to. My Dad spent most of his adult life working shifts, including nights, in not always the best conditions and it certainly takes its toll on a person. He's certainly done his best to put me off working nights!

3 til 4 in the morning is always the worst, it is like your the only person in the world. then the chefs and the milk men turn up, and it all starts to ramp up until home time :-)

The plus side to working nights is that you don't get the BS from the day staff and managers.

So my wife and I have been thinking of retiring in the Valencia region.

I wish I could think of retiring. :(

Even though I've been a bum the past few months. Call it the calm before the storm.

Well the flip side is that thinking about retirement means that you're old enough to have started thinking about it. :banghead:

I've been thinking about retiring for years. Sadly, the way pensions are going in the UK it'll probably be a case of working until you die with no retirement unless you have to stop work through ill health or injury. At the moment it's 68 - wonder what it'll be in 40 years?

I'm really disgusted with myself at the moment as I have really started to enjoy this series of Big Brother.

I thought I'd gotten this tripe out of my system, and not watched it for 4 series. But I have a lot of time on my hands, I've been sucked back in. Damn.

I've never really watched it. Ever. It's just one of those things that's just never appealed to me.

I've heard many people become hooked on it, once they start watching it properly though

It's the characters. They suck you in. You have to keep watching to find out if people can really be so dumb.

Plus you might get to see a boob every now and then.
