I'm surprised some of the salaries aren't more to be honest.I seem to remember Ayrton being on £1 million a race at one time.If you look how much inflated footballers wages have gone up in that time its unreal

JPM makes $5M for shaking his boobies in a NASCAR contraption? Interesting.....

Elsewhere representing motor sport, Kimi Raikkonen appears for Finland with his earnings from the World Rally Championship listed as a whopping $26,333,333.

wow no wonder Kimi is "doing what he pleases". Now he's got his own team, so from a bussiness pt of view his exit from f1 seems to be paying off. i guess Kimi doesnt appreciate the bussiness model of F1: Bernie makes money, everyone else spends ;)

Yeah and lewis is supposed to be takin a cut!!! :yikes: But I guess we'll never know the ins and outs of it all.

HRT are paying Karthikeyan $250,000? If they are actually paying him, they might as well get a better up and coming driver from GP2.

Kobayashi and Perez are a bargain pairing given their $1.5m combined pricetag against the results they have brought to Sauber!

They pay him that but i would guess he'd bring a far greater amount than that in in sponsorship cash...

In terms of drivers salaries, £250,000 is near enough minimum wage for us lot.

Well Pic is getting screwed then... :P

But this doesn't tell the whole story (these are just figures i saw posted elsewhere anyway) - no doubt there are point/win/title bonuses, plus some drivers get extra income through sponsorship, i believe Hamilton gets quite a lot more from that to the tune of millions a year...

Bottom line: us poor folks don't have to worry about any of them, ain't that the truth?

I think you'll find Hamilton is currently behind at least Alonso and Schumacher in personal sponsorship deals, its part of the sticking point in resigning a Mclaren contract.

OK he's slightly above F1 minimum wage. Di Resta and Pic must be on F1 income support! :hehe:

As if Schumacher needs the money! After all his advertising things he's probably still making more than Alonso. Apparently gives a huge amount away to good causes.
