Boring track, hoping for McLaren to bring a car which can win again to make it a little more interesting.

A FULL dry qualifying pls....I'm sick of seeing McLaren handicapped by the weather. :banghead:

Remember... this year even Valencia was exciting.

Actually this weekend would probably be my least favorite race of the year so far. It was a bit dull at the front so I focused instead on the wonderful battles between Force India and Sauber. I think one of the problems with Hockenheim is that it's too damned narrow of a track in too many areas.

Looking at what the McLaren handled like around the Hockenheimring; I think that the Hungaroring will suit the McLaren if it's dry. In the wet, I would favour the Red Bull or Ferrari. But as ever it's hard to predict what will happen given the DRS, KERS and unpredicatable tyres, if it's extremely hot then we might see Lotus coming to the fore as their car seems to work better in the heat!

Until the alternator gives out.

I bet they have a way of duckling some power out of KERS now to run the engine.

wasn't that what the regulations stated in 2014 to use electric to power the car on pit lane and also be used as a starter?

Yup - electric in the pit lane. The starter thing was that all cars must have an onboard ignition.

Okay, I wasn't far off then. I'd read somewhere or maybe on one of the flying lap episodes that teams would likely leverage the same electric motor for the starter.

So the HRT will be even more like a milf float now, in the pitlane at least! :hehe:

The Nurburgring is also quite narrow in places. Hockenheim had the potential to be amazing. It's such a shame it all fizzled out towards the end. I wouldn't say it was my least favourite of the year though... Monaco definitely! :hehe:
