My team value went down five million! Lousy weekend big time.

ick... horrible weekend for me. Started off bad with Webber's penalty, got worse with Lewis's problems, and even worse with Seb's silly pass on Jenson. But at least Jenson did well to score some points for McLaren.

I took advantage of Grosjean's drop in value and swapped diresta for him.

Whose team is chegletts?

For me, was worried that Hamilton retiring would give me a terrible score but it wasn't too bad. So freaking glad i have Alonso in the team, can't see many others being able to afford him now and i think i'm one of the few who has him. I was worried that switching to Ferrari chassis might be a bad move but it seems ok. Now i have swapped Lotus for McLaren engines, and Hamilton is the talent.

What I don't get about the game is how can Felipe Massa be valued higher than Lewis Hamilton? The model used in calculating driver values is very flawed.

DNF = huge loss in value. So cause he DNF'd Hamilton lost the maximum amount from his value, i think 4 million. It works the other way too, ie, when Schumacher got on the podium at Valencia after many poor results, his value shot up.

I get the impression this site is in it's first season so that might be the cause of the misjudgement. Although i think in some ways it is quite good cause if you are in trouble you can exploit that feature to get some good drivers in.

I realize that now but the one change per GP weekend is VERY limiting. Also one false move and you're SOL! I seem to have a knack of giving up on a driver just before they have a fantastic result!

Yeah, that is a PITA alright. I had a huge problem for a while until recent races where i was lumbered with Button and Vergne but couldn't really get rid of them!

It was a good weekend for me; Jenson in second, Kamui in fourth, was let down by Lewis and Romain though, my next purchase should I get one is going to be Fernando, maybe replacing Lewis.
