If the FiA Stewards agree with Jo Bauer (their technical delegate) then my guess is they'd declare the times of the Red Bulls in qualifying invalid. They could start if they change the mappings and go to the back or pit lane.

Less than 90 minutes to the race....can anything take place between now and then?

They could take action, yes, but Sky is reporting nothing will be done.

Makes the action to disq Lewis's Q look pretty harsh if that's right

Until all of the facts are disclosed I don't really see how you can pass judgement or relate this to other events. From the information doing the rounds it seems to be only a suspicion, which must have been proven wrong if no action is to be taken.

No further action on RBR.

I'm pleased with that decision to be honest. It would kind of ruin the race, if two of the leading contenders were put to the back

I wouldn't celebrate just yet. I can't find this decision anywhere. I've look at all the usual sources as well as the F1 section of Sky's website.

I'm neutral about it...if they got what they deserved, well and good. If not, at least they can make Alonso sweat a bit at the start of the race.

Here's the officials response:-

The Stewards received a report from the FIA Technical Delegate along with specific ECU data from Red Bull Racing Cars 1 and 2. The Stewards met with team representatives and the representative of the engine supplier Renault.

While the Stewards do not accept all the arguments of the team, they however conclude that as the regulation is written, the map presented does not breach the text of Art 5.5.3 of the Formula One Technical Regulations and therefore decide to take no further action.”

Lap 35/67 - Hamilton Pulls away from Vettel and starts to close on Alonso. This is a very unusual situation, but in theory Hamilton is doing nothing wrong.

I agree with this ^

Agree..

The less points Alonso and Vettel get the better for Lewis, can't help a puncture so roll on next week.

The car is fast and that's what we wanted to see so it's happy days from here on.

Webber in tenth as well.
