Anyone watching the red button?

I think the red button proves categorically why the BBC is the best broadcaster for the F1 :drink:

I was referring to Eddie Jordan attempting to play the drums.

He wasn't too bad, hell I've seen worse professional bands.

Well he's ok on the hi-hat. Now if he could use the snare and the bass drum he'll be on his way. :hehe:

I would of liked to have seen Di Resta race, maybe someone should teach Grojean how to start a race without hitting anybody, has he had any contact free races yet?

Not really his fault.

Cant agree more on how close it is. McLaren didn't have the result they wanted, but rest assured, their car is just a fraction off and they can easily turn it around.

The McLaren drivers disagree with you:

McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button say their car is now a long way off the lead pace and that major steps forward are needed if they are to stay in the title fight.
...
Button came through from 17th on the grid to salvage a point in 10th, but said racing in the midfield had underlined McLaren's deficiencies.

"It's not just the Red Bulls and the Ferraris that are quicker than us, a lot of cars are," he said.

Maldonado fined 10,000 Euro for his collision with Perez

Kobi, who has already apologised to his team for running into them during his pit stop, has been fined 25,000 Euro.

Nice touch here - Nando pic was on the Red Bull car :) So he must have donated to the cause which is also a cool move by the man.

Well..what did we learn about this race, Lewis can kiss goodbye to his Championship. McLaren have failed majorly, and have fallen behind Ferrari and Lotus. Well done McLaren.

Looks like even Lewis knows it, he was more keen on doing donuts for the crowd rather than greeting his failure of a team in the pits.

Glad Mark won, he deserved it and very welcomed indeed (I bet for Brit fans as well)....after seeing McLarens blistering pace.

Maybe Whitmarsh can be proud of two things - the pitstops were just masterclass. I mean truly. When the car is s***, the pitstops are brilliant. And Button only ended up less than 10 seconds behind Lewis, so maybe he's found his way back to form again. You never know, Whitmarsh might just hold a party thanks to these 2 great achievements in Silverstone today.

I think I'd be barracking for Webber for the Championship...and hope Lewis gets another couple of wins along the way and f*cks out of McLaren end of this year.

I did think the Red Bulls looked freaking cool this weekend with the effect those pics and the lighter blue had on the car. And one million euros raised for charity to boot!

That was a racing incident, was not anyones fault they are just going by previous incidents, yeah he was a bit too fast, but Perez could have moved more to the left.

Kobi, who has already apologised to his team for running into them during his pit stop, has been fined 25,000 Euro.

And that is ridiculous, why do they feel the need to fine someone for running over their own team, would he do it again if he wasn't fined!?!

I'm sure Kobi feels bad enough about running over his own team members, so why fine him, it didn't give him an advantage and I'm pretty sure he didn't do it on purpose! :banghead:

+1. The obsession with apportioning blame is getting over the top.
