Well well well, more corruption? I just disregarded the Ferrari favouritism before, but now I'm beginning to wonder...

It wasn't just Alonso that called for a red flag. A radio transmission of Hamilton showed him to be calling for a red flag also. Doubtless there were other drivers and teams doing the same.

I never said he called for a red flag or not, I meant that they called a red flag, and as Ferrari were struggling, when the water clears they can all go back out and Ferrari can do better

Had this been a track with better drainage they would probably still be running. There is just too much standing water which makes the risk of aqua-planing far too high.

All drivers were struggling and when the water clears all drivers will do better, not just Ferrari.

Well that's what they're talking about on BBC

You mean Eddie Jordan who is basically the BBC troll. :hehe: To suggest that the session is red flagged to benefit one team is obviously the imaginings of a warped mind. The funky shirts are obviously radioactive and are causing permanent damage. :hehe:

I think Alonso cheated a bit there...

The other 2 sectors could be pretty amazing but as long as the affected sector is slower he'll be ok. Given the improving conditions it is entirely possible that his lap is all above board and legal.

McLaren is just rubbish on intermediates. Doesn't bode well for changing conditions tomorrow unless it's constant rain throughout the race and everyone is forced to stick with wets.

Yeah. So much for their 'updates' they saved for Silverstone, it's a motorboat's weekend this one. Assuming we have no red flag periods tomorrow (which is unlikely), Lewis will be lucky to beat either Vettel or Alonso.

And the best part is he's sharing the grid slot with the madman who punted him out in Valencia.

Alonso had a faster time in the last sector than three cars above him in Q2, so he ignored yellow flags and should start from the back.

Correct...just saw this myself. Hope McLaren doesn't let this one go.
