So much hate in this thread. It really is depressing. :(

Yeah, if I want to be this depressed I'll go to work.

True, Wb, its hard to drive through the field when you have been pasted into the wall by your teammate

If Lewis had his thinking cap on; he'd think Jenson probably can't see me; i'll go down the outside into turn one to avoid the collision! I believe Lewis wasn't 'thinking' for half of last season!

I think Lewis gave a bit too much credit to Jenson thinking that he'd know Lewis was there/thereabouts since he was right on his tail anyway. I don't think we can blame Jenson either, his awareness of his surroundings isn't that sharp so yes, Lewis is at fault to a degree.

He may know that Lewis is close but where behind; should Jenson have left a cars width for Lewis to breeze up the inside just incase he was there; Jenson continued on the racing line, which he is entitled to do; Lewis was not far enough alongside to be able to see him in those conditions; it's a straight up racing incident; certain members are making it sound like Button deliberately took out his competitors to move up places; which is not the way Jenson drives, he'd rather follow someone around for lap after lap than make a rash move that could end his race!

In this case, Lewis could see that Jenson was going to take his normal racing line and should have switched sides and made the move around the outside of turn one into turn two!

I'm starting to doubt if we'd even have a freaking race now thanks to the weather.

So which is it? The climate getting worse, or F1 just becoming a tame watered down version of the 90s? It's gotta be one or the other.

Hopefully there won't have to be a safety car start :(

A safety car start is better than no race at all.

I suppose...

Not bad for Jenson, he managed to outqualify all the new teams in this treacherous conditions...I expected him to bin it somewhere.

There's no doubting that Glock's spin and the subsequent yellow flag knackered Jenson's chances today...

1.5 seconds lost.

Indeed, he was nearer 1.7s up so would have been well into Q2.

Nah, that was a spin AFTER the finish line...Button just messed up somewhere even after having a 1.7s advantage. Of course, great excuse for the media to talk about.

The yellow flags were being shown prior to the last corner though.
