mm. Alonso didnt do quite as well with that equipment

Look we all have a favorite driver and/or team but to blantantly dismiss, ie turn a blind eye, to an infraction that the WHOLE WORLD saw is well? I'll leave the description of said term up to everyone else.

Guess Ted Kravitz iz blind...

By the way, my favourite driver still is Kimi. Hope HK will fill his shoes. Don't like Kimi's new red shoes, me

I like Kimi also like Heiki a lot and think he's really good but I think Lewis is better. Yes he's my favourite driver at the moment but its because I think he has such skill not because he's been hyped up, I liked watching him and was excited by his potential. his racecraft and style of driving way before he came to F1. Having said all that if Heikki beats him (im not talking about the odd race)then he beats him.I'll have been wrong about Lewis, but good luck to heikki. I think its a great driver line up who ever comes out on top. And they will get fair treatment, both Heikki and Lewis have stated thats what they want and thats what they know theyre getting. True champions would want no other.

You cant discuss Lewis and Alonso on 'what ifs' Yes Alonso lost out by the stupid pit blocking true but -what if Lewis' tyre didnt explde at Turkey, theyd brought him in earlier last but 1 race, they didnt give Alonso preferable strategy and ban racing in Monaco, lewis. gears didnt go in last race. The list of .what ifs is long but the fact remains Lewis drove consistently better than a good double world champion and in his rookie year.
I know you dont like him
Oh by the way I dont like kimis red shoes either

I would actually like Lewis if he were smart enough and wore the same "Red" shoes that Kimi wears.

That is why then that Hamilton will never be LEGENDARY like Michael Schumacher. If Michael Schumacher had instead won 5 world championships for McLaren instead of Ferrari he would of been less popular and than he is now. Racing and winning for the GREATEST LEGENDARY team EVER in the history of F1 is what made Schumacher exactly what he is now. In years to come he will be like a great Myth. (Don't know if it sounds good in English but that is the English word for the Italian word Mito which is what I am trying to say).

How do you know?? Do you have a crystal ball? If you do, then could you tell me the numbers for tomorrow night's lottery draw? Could you tell me when Bryan Robson is going to be sacked?

Hamilton's not "legendary" yet. He's just really in a class of his own at the moment and will probably be compared to Schumi, Senna et al eventually.

I know because the real BIG LEGENDS come out of Ferrari. Imagine Ayrton Senna drove for Ferrari? He would of been greater and more Legendary still. Schumacher is more legendary than Senna. Why? Because he did hi deed for Ferrari, a Legendary team. It is a very simple explanation. Even Tazio Nuvolari the great cannot come close to Michael Schumacher. So Hamilton even if he wins for McLaren (which he wont because Kimi is there to stop him) he will never compare to Schumi, never.

Well, that IS my point - flat tires, rain errors, gearbox problems... are race incidents. In Budapest, FA lost a few points for something that had nothing to do with racing. Anyway, check on that link I've posted a few replies above.

And I really don't agree that LH did drive CONSISTENTLY better than FA. Where is that coming from? They ended up having same number of victories, and it is not like FA was winning only when LH had DNF.

So you think Senna isn't legendary just because he didn't drive for Ferrari? Well if you'll only consider him a legend because he drove for a "legendary team" how about Lotus? If you don't think Lotus is legendary enough then you need to get out more.

Nelson Piquet is considered a legend and he didn't drive for Ferrari. One time he even said "why would I want to go to Ferrari?" when somebody asked him when he would "fulfill every F1 driver's dream of driving for Ferrari".

I suppose you don't even consider Sir Jackie Stewart and Sir Jack Brabham legends either according to your logic.

To 7UpJordan, where is Lotus now? Even the road cars? Not very legendary nowadays hey? And Jackie Stewart tried to be like Enzo the Great and make his own F1 team. (This is what Enzo did as he too was once a race driver) And what happened to Stewart, then Jaguar? FAIL, FAIL, FAIL. Big cross for him too. hahahahahaha. Brabham. 3 time world champ. Always good stuff but his team he made later, what happened to them. Not around anymore either. Just Ferrari is around and they started earlier then all the others you named. No one is as Legendary as Ferrari, no one that is my point. And yes Senna is Legendary there is no doubt there. You miss my point. My point was he would of been even more legendary if he had some championship wins with Ferrari as its Ferrari that makes Schumi even more legendary than what he would of been had he raced for a different team. By the way had Senna not died he may of ended up eventually to Ferrari anyways. Didn't he want to finish his carreer at Ferrari after he topped up a few more championships with then the best car and the only true British team left today WILLIAMS?

Lotus not legendary? Try saying that in the face of Colin Chapman's son Clive then. Lotus would be still around today if Colin hadn't died, the team's death pretty much started when he died and thanks to Peter Warr's inept management.

Senna was planning to move to Ferrari before he retired - hoping to link up with Gerhard Berger for one last time, but sadly we all know what happened.

As for Brabham and Stewart, were they in charge when their respective teams "failed"? No. Ford did a Marlon Brando with Jackie and made him "an offer he couldn't refuse", and Ford pulled out of F1 in 2004 taking Jaguar with it. Sir Jack had been long gone from the Brabham team when Piquet won their last title in 1983, Bernie was in charge back then and their first downfall came about when Piquet left and their low-line Brabham in 1986 was a disaster. Bernie was also FOCA President and his increased role there made him lose interest in Brabham, and the team then missed 1988 when it changed hands to somebody else. Then the team finally folded in 1992 and Jack didn't have anything to do with it did he?

To just add something to what 7Up said, Enzo Ferrari and Sir Jackie Stewart started up teams in a completely different era, you tool. Back in the '50s anybody could get a team up and running. Sure, the Coopers found out that putting the engine in the rear of the car was better by a complete accident! That shows the level at which the sport was at and where it is now.

I've changed my mind again. Your comedy has just gone to tragedy and you are just wasting space in people's screens. I think the forum's management need to step in and stop you ruining the experience of the people using the forum sensibly.
