I am so excited about this now. I cannot wait!! Only FOUR more sleeps till I go !! Woop Woop!!!

Spend your time wisely* till then....

Invest in a sniper which is capable of taking out the tyres of the No.1 Ferrari and No.1 Redbull

Leaving the Lotus to win.....?

Don't really care. Just need Lewis to catch up in the points standings.

I'll take out EVERYONE except Hamilton and Maldonado. See what happens then.......

Ahh sh*t...might as well just take yourself out then.

Less than a week camping stuff coming out of attic today

I just seen the weeks weather forcast. Looks like a big area of slow moving low pressure loitering over much of Englandshire at the end of the week. Wet race anyone? Might be an entertaining British GP for once - we're about due one.

Hi Dan,
Check out the 'going to races' section, there's lots of info about Silverstone in there. But a quick answer to some of your questions.
Stowe is a long way from the centre of things so I'd plan some time to visit the area behind Village and farm. Most of the merchandise stalls are there though there will be others all around the track.

Big Screen? Probably yes.

You wont make the podium from Stowe but you'll see it on the TV. Not many people get round to the podium.

You can get decent food from most places round the track but can also take your own if you want to.
Take clothing to cover all weather eventualities.
An FM radio is good to tune in to Silverstone radio (its hard to hear the loudspeakers over the sound of the cars).
Try to stay for the post race party if you can, its ace.
Not sure about park and ride sorry.

Looks like the weather is going to be making the lives of us campers a little more difficult:

Dont get me wrong, I'll have just as much fun (Im a seasoned Glastonbury Festival goer - so I can handle my mud!) - I would just rather its sunny

[racechick]

I dont mind the rain...prefer the sun. My worry is that the campsite I go to wont be able to handle the wet. You cant book, just turn up. I nearly didnt get on once before , they'd closed it because of rain. I saw a farmer's tractor, ran after it and begged him to let me on and he did. Might not be so lucky this time. Not going till Friday so slightly paniced now.
