Camon Bud give me a break already. I am not even Spanish. I just stick up for Alonso because everyone else bags him and he is such a great driver that doesn't even drive for Ferrari. I mean what is so special about Hamilton? Everyone makes out it was all Alonso's fault about what happened between them at McLaren. It makes me sick how most people cannot see the light and will not recognise Alonso as the better driver between himself and Hamilton. We were all told how Alonso was a winge, yeah whatever, that is the British media crapping on andmaking their hero Hamilton look the innocent. Would you like me to show you what the Spanish media had to say? I can read, write and speak Spanish and I can tell you they were all in favour of Alonso. Now this proves that what the media says is rubbish. Alonso was the better driver period. Reality is who knows what Hamilton and Ron Dennis got up to behind closed doors? No wonder why Alonso told on McLaren about the cheating and all. Once again well done Alonso. That will teach McLaren to respect what a great champion driver Alonso is.

How did he do that exactly?

by going to Ferrari in 1996 and turning it into a winning outfit. He made that team into what it was today and to me more than earned the number 1 status. Alonso had no right to walk into Mclaren and demand number 1 status but at Renault it was his input that took the team to 2 world titles so he has a right to be the number 1 there.

Two things: Again, it seems you hate McLaren winning more than you like seeing Ferrari win, in fact, you seem more worried about what McLaren and the FIA do (the latter having been mentioned on other threads, but not this one) than about Ferrari. You must have no faith in the Scuderia at all! Secondly, respect goes both ways: the driver respects the team and the team respect the drivers.

Personally I like the Latin way. At least the Latin way is upfront and honest because no secret shifty business. FORZA FERRARI and if Ferrari can't win then VAMOS ARRIBA ALONSO...................

Would this be this 'Latin' way that Michael Schumacher (a German) and Ross Brawn (a Briton) devised when they moved to Ferrari?

Make it look even blah, blah, blah but the reality is Lewis had the better treatment thus Alonso scoring the same points as Hamilton on the playing ground. You keep mentioning a German, Michael Schumacher (being non Latin) and others at Ferrari. What about all the Italian personal? What about Luca di Montezemolo? He is Italian and he is the President of Ferrari is he not? In the end he is the BOSS and what he says goes. Anyway I don't care if things are run the "so called Latin way" or any other way. The original point is that ALONSO should of been NUMBER 1 at McLaren and that Alonso isn't one who likes to do things the way Ron Dennis does them. Had Alonso kept his cool, not tried to blackmail the team boss, and bribe the team mechanics and getting sacked by Mercedes, he would have had a higher chance of winning the title and would have been a better car for 2008 than what he finds himself in now.
