Having watched the BTCC for several years I'm delighted to see Matt Neal and his team pick up the Drivers championship. It's been a long hard slog for them, but they've come out to beat the factory teams in 05 to become the first independents to win the championship for 14 years, doing it at Brands Hatch the last race of the season.
One thing I do hate though is ITVs coverage - wouldn't it be wonderful to see all three races uninterupted, more indepth analysis and pit visits post race. And can we stop that awful Dunlop line - 'Dunlop...because drivers know' - drivers know what? Most drivers don't even know what tyre pressures to use (if they ever check them), let alone what tyre they're driving on - besides which, if I 'knew' that I was using Dunlops I'd drive to my nearest dealership and get Toyo T1Rs fitted on every corner.
