That just means the model is half the size of the real thing. The height is half, the width is half, the depth(fore-aft) is half.

1:2 doesn't refer to a size it refers to a scale. It's not a real helmet but a miniature model that you can probably put on your chihuahua.

Tho i'm still wondering. It is half the size of a normal racehelmet right? But half the size of a large or a small? :b Maybe this sounds ridicules but i want to know.

Helmets external shells are all the same size, 'The differences that make small, large etc are with internal padding. So for a half scale model you don't need to worry what size it's based on as it has none.

Didn't know that, so if you have a giant heid you have less padding?

No you'd need a very expensive custom made helmet or a specialty helmet. The padding is there for sizing but the primary purpose is to slow the head down in an impact to protect the skull and brain so less padding means that it won't be able to slow the cranium down enough therefor won't likely meet Snell or other (Ansi?) safety rating.

What about cubehead?

Anyway, to the OP, if you are trying to dtermine the exact dimensions of this model, ask the seller.

Duckay, you're not going to be able to wear it, if that's what you're getting at :hehe::hehe:

Unless you're microcephalic or wear it where the sun don't shine...

It'd need to be 1/100 scale for me if I wore it where the sun don't shine :crying:

would it be placed next to your Vettel tattoo, I am sure there is somewhere safe you could keep it.

Maybe Duckay is actually one of the Jivaroan people who come from Ecuador or Peru.
