Wait a minute. Is somebody just trying to show that, "Hey, you see, these things can happen to anyone, not just to Jenson," and so today, miraculously, all of Lewis' speed is back? Is that the point -- a few days reprieve for Jense -- while they try to get this all sorted out for him?

I don't think McLaren are that retarded.

They weren't too hot at Monaco as well, and this stupid circuit has a lot of Monaco characteristics (without the excitement) so I'm not too surprised with McLarens form here. Just hoping for Lewis to get the car he's comfortable with and get some good points from this circuit.

Like someone mentioned earlier, don't fret. Red bull did this all the time over the last 2 years. some double digit spots in the practice sessions then front rows in qualifying. Patience, my friends!!

Lewis is non too happy about the situation, he's been quiet up till now, but.......

"It was interesting when I went to the factory last week, I was with my engineer and saw all the other top engineers on one table. They had all of my data out lap by lap and were noting all the things i did differently to Jenson to try and understand things. So he has every detail of what I'm doing differently."

After admitting to be 'confused and lost' after his 16th place Button is more confident for Valencia. "I'm sure he is" added Hamilton. "There's been a lot of work that's gone on for his car"

So not only are they giving him Lewis' set-ups, they are giving himlap by lap what lewis does and have all the top engineers working on it. :banghead::banghead::banghead: No wonder there were no upgrades.

I dont want all this to be happenning and just when I think its ok another load of rubbish comes along!
I did read this in the daily mail, so I take that into consideration here, but they are still Lewis' words

Wow...interesting. Is the daily mail reliable though?

I wouldn't stake my life on what I read in the Daily Mail...but the bits there were actual quotes, he must have said them .

Well...only Lewis would know the situation he's in.

Maybe one of his clause for extending the contract should be: "Decentralize setup/information sharing...and quit spoonfeeding the baby in our team with all my info". :D

Well Lewis has already said its not just about money its about the whole package. I imagine something along those lines would be paramount.

I fail to see whats wrong here? this is the logical thing for any team to do, compare drivers to find out differences

Maybe I'm over reacting. I know they have to solve the problem of Button, but it seems a bit one sided at the momnet, and could be compromising McLaren's outright pace

More importantly than Baby's performance, what's wrong with Hamilton? Not been in the Top 5 in whole of Practice so far? :censored:
