A car forum I used to be a member of put together a 3 or 4 day package to attend the annual Tokyo Autoshow and it's still a huge hit every year. The package include's airfare, lodging and ticket's and it is I believe around $1500US. Everyone who attend's are either forum friend's and/or personal friend's and I hear it's a BLAST!

So I thought I would ask "would there be any interest in this for a F1 group get together among us"? For sure the package cost would fluctuaute do to the departing country and yes it would take alot of work organizing the first GP get together. The first event would be the most difficult but each year after would be alot easier.

Would there be any interest in a bunch of us having a meet/greet/party/F1 race for say the '09 GP of Silverstone? I really want to attend a race and it wouid be a blast to hangout with a bunch of fellow member's!

I have alway's wanted to go the the Australian GP plus there are some partying fool's down there! bud if or when I do make it down I dont just want a ride in the GTR I got's to drive baby!!!!

The main reason I chose the British GP is that 80% or more of our member's are in England or the surrounding countrie's. It also give's me a better chance to stalk Keely Hazel !

Sounds a great idea Tex, I'll no doubt be going to Silverstone next year again, and I'm currently considering going to next year's Australian GP.

I think it would be a blast for all of us ! I'm very serious about this and for my mate bud , since he is so far away, we could all set aside a few extra 'pound's' for him to assure his attendance? I am so in need of a trip abroad I can hardly stand it !

The plan 'Sam I am" is for the '09 British GP . Please dont let this thread go 'off-topic' pertaining to this year's GP it's all about the '09 race .
