My order

Kirk Shatner
Picard
Sisko
Archer

I am also a fan of the new Movie franchise, I think they did a good job casting but not sure on the Kirk as yet.

They had a lot to live up to but the only complaint from me is that Chekov was played as a bit too much of a charicature, good way to continue the series.

I picked Kirk. There's only one real Star Trek.
The character got a lush back story in the last movie. That did it.
Scott Bakula, well I didn't really mind him as an actor, I liked him in Quantum Leap, but he was never convincing as a Starfleet Captain. Plus he killed the franchise.

Dean Stockwell played Al, not Ziggy. Ziggy was a technician whom Al communicated with using that colourful calculator.

to be pedantic:- Spock, Sulu, Chekov, Scotty (no not the martian green one), where also captains at some point. and Christopher Pine was the captain in the pilot.

Worf too in first contact.

Chris Pine played Kirk in the latest movie, Captain Chris Pike was played by Jeffrey Hunter in the pilot and by Bruce Greenwood in the latest movie.
