Maybe we should start a Last of the Summer Wine thread. At least we could discuss a decent show rather than something that is the TV equivalent to Prog Rock. :hehe:
Is there actually a comedy thread or something? That way, things like Laurel & Hardy, Last of the Summer Wine, Fawlty Towers, Fry and Laurie, Morecambe and Wise, and all other things good can be discussed! 8-)

No there is not. I consider this a criminal ommission seeing as we now have 2 Star Trek threads (which is 3 too many). :irked:

Star Trek is one of the worst things to ever happen to mankind in terms of TV shows. It's made worse by nerds, geeks and general weirdo's thinking it's real! :hehe:

Leela:"This isn't T.V you know, it's real life"
Fry:"I know I just like T.V better"

Gene Roddenberry once said

"Technology is not of vast importance in itself but as a tool in which we can better reach out dreams."

Isn't that what Star Trek tries to tell us? that all we (the human race) wants is to achieve our dreams?

Andrew, I bet you are closer to your dreams because of technology

Now Star Wars on the otherhand...
Are you that much into making out with your sister? :hehe:

Without Star Trek there would be nothing else to follow in it's wake.

Perhaps it's all just the unusual attachment you had to your ewok dolls as a kid.

Better an ewok doll than pointy ears and a skin tight lycra pull over.

She's just an actress. The pointy ears are thankfully removable.

Star Wars has been and always will be way cooler than Star Trek.
