Do you mean Jake Gyllenhaal ? About six month's ago I watched Brokeback Mountain and I was surprised that I actually thought it was a good movie. The acting was very good imo and the story line of how it delt with the whole family and love dynamic was sincerely portrayed.

Anyway the world has lost a great actor but more importantly a great person.

I found the movie mediocre at best. Though the acting was good as you stated, I could not enjoy it much. The rough and tumbling horse play in the wilderness just doesn't cut it for me. And the reactionary way women are portrait and treated like poo was just horrid!

whats sad is extremist religious groups are protesting at Heaths service! like to see em try that in Australia!

It's some backward church in the backend of America. Basically they protest at funerals of dead US servicemen, and anything else to get the media spotlight. Their reasoning for such a protest at Heath Ledger's funeral had something to do with him having played a homosexual in the film 'Brokeback Mountain'.

They had better hope they never do such a thing when i'm present...

At the end of that movie, his character was pretty old, maybe 50, since his daughter was getting married. I didn't know Heath was so young, I'm amazed at how far away from his own age he could pull off.

Yup, one of Hollywood's more grounded actors. Just a shame we have to lose a celebrity with talent so young.
