On more open tracks like Spa or Monza where overtaking is almost a breeze with DRS, you'd see the teams on the back foot easily vying for this strategy.

Unless they encounter Schumacher's wide car (at Monza). Ross Brawn will have to be on the radio again!

Well...if he repeats those moves, maybe, just maybe he might get a drive through. Or a 'warning'. I'd put more money on a 'warning'.

Gary Anderson really should shut up, every time he opens his mouth he sounds even more stupid.
He fails to mention the biggest factor in why both Vettel and Alonso didn't pit to cover Hamilton, that being a young Frenchmen 15 seconds down the road. Hamilton pitted and came out 3 seconds ahead of Grosjean, both Alonso and Vettel couldn't pit and get out ahead of him, so opted to one stop just like Grosjean only difference being his pace didn't drop off like theirs.

Funny because Alonso himself stated that even if they had covered Hamilton in his pit stops Ferrari still didn't have the pace to keep up with the McLaren, and clearly the Red Bull didn't have the pace to keep up with the Ferrari, so they did ultimately gamble and win. Wanna know why they "could" have won but didn't?

Karun Chandhok on ESPNF1; Lewis has always been a bit of an ace at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve having won here twice already in the past. I remember watching from the commentary box at the last chicane last year and the way he was attacking the kerbs lap after lap with a level of comfort and confidence was a visible step up on anyone else. This weekend he continued that fine form.

Can you imagine we had that Gary guy as a commentator on my live coverage last year? I was buffering crappy quality online with BBC coverage, and it was still better than crystal clear HD quality with bullsh*t spoken throughout the races.

Lewis started second... never lost touch with Seb throughout the first stint, and then pulled away from the rest thereon. The others didn't really have the pace at all, even without Ferrari's and Red Bull's wharped strategies.
