So according to you guys great racing = predictable bunch of drivers in front?

Meh. Variety is the spice of life. Gimme an unpredictable season anytime! Screw patterns. :hehe:

I agree with you totally mate. Clearly some people like relentless domination, such as in 2011...

There has always been periods of domination in F1. It's the nature of the sport when there is stability in the rules for a couple of seasons.

Of course. There are also more unpredictable seasons though too.

Blasting the new regs and slaying the sport is very lame. How can the racing this year not be enjoyable?

This is not aimed at you, andrew, BTW.

I wouldn't say it's not enjoyable but it is a bit of a lottery. It seems that it's either a famine or a feast with F1 at the moment.

It wasnt a lottery last race, we had 5 driver/team combos slugging it out for the win using different strategies. The top 3 lead most of the race, gambled and lost to the 2 driver/team combos representing the challengers of the established order

Where was the luck or unpredictability there? Shirley thats exactly what we want to see each and every race, the best battling and challengers close behind them

How can anyone say this race was ruined or belittled by lottery conditions?

I dont think its been a true lottery... More like instead of a car/chassis being able to be great under all conditions, we now have much borader chassis/tires/driver interactions. This allows many different scenarios for each track, and moment in the race.

I dont think any of the winning drives or podiums this yr have been mediocre drives. But finally we are getting able to see good drives with good results for different packages.

It is a bit crazy or annoying that there's no real way of knowing who looks like will win a race or get the podiums...

The tyres undoubtably cause unpredictability, but a lottery? No. If it were a lottery we wouldnt have the three best drivers at the top of the championship table.

Three? the guy at the top is only there because of affirmative action... ;):P

Some people dislike relentless domination even if it's their team/driver doing the dominating. Different strokes I guess.

I'm enjoying this season, and the winner at the end of the year will have earned their championship without anyone detracting from it like the tendency there is to for Button or Vettel's 09 and 11 seasons.

The official F1 site has listed in the race analysis that mark webber got P1 and charles pic got P25...

Unless lewis' middle name is webber and there's a 25th driver on the grid that I don't know about, they really :censored: that up :hehe: I really should be an editor for the entire internet...I find silly stuff like that day in and day out all over these official websites that really have no excuses for mistakes...
