Ok, let's put it like this:
Webber NEVER outscored Vettel. I never went that far as you Hamilton fans, I like Webber to finish good, at least for the team's sake.
Button outscored Hamilton last year. You all hated that, even made up many conspiracy theories, until, finally, Hamilton has won a race. Button won the first race of the season, by driving in a fantastic manner, while Hamilton just could not follow him. What about that? Please, just be realistic. Hamilton fans are totally unfair towards any other driver that actually poses a threat to his finishes...

I'm mostly glad about Jenson's performance because it might wake McLaren up in considering to kick him out...never liked the fact that he's joining the team anyway, with the saddest WDC won in F1 history.

Umm...didn't Jens just renew his contract for 3 years or something? McLaren has never really been known to short contracts...Alonso being an exception. And I get the distinct feeling Whitmarsh has a mild man-crush on Jenson so he may be at McLaren for the duration of his contract. Do we have to wait three years before we have a real shot at the WCC? There is clearly going to be some head scratching at Woking.

Contracts can easily be broken, just ask Frank Williams about Button's 'contract-gate' during his Williams/Honda times.

Well, by the looks of things here, this just shows how fair Hamilton fans are...
To be honest, the only bad thing about Hamilton are his fans.

Okay, ill give Button some love, here it is then.

"Well done Button, you showed Kovaleinan who's boss"

Who are you on about here? Quite bad to generalise groups...

2012, we've got ourselves a historic year already, one we'll be telling our grand kids about! The antithesis of 2011.

Congratulations to Grosjean and Perez, both had fantastic drives maximizing their car's strength of being easy on rubber and getting a second podium for both. Not only do they get the podium but also take valuable points from Vettel and Alonso. It was a fantastic race even if you didn't like the race outcome.

Here's why I'm a fan of Lewis... he tried TWICE to take the lead from Alonso, even though he could have easily just waited for the next lap and the next DRS zone. The guy is just an entertaining man on the track to watch and has matured immensely given his performance last year.

Lotus-Renault solidly in 3rd place in the WCC is good to see. If McLaren have any hope to win the WCC, Button has to score points, any points, I really do hope today's performance was his low tide mark.

First of all, I've always maintained that Whitmarsh and the team are wasting their time giving too much help for the weaker driver and I still maintain that. The conspiracy bullsh*t I don't know where you picked it up from, it certainly wasn't me.

And Button won the first race of the season, I expressed shock and admitted he drove the better race. You can find my quotes if you like. But I don't have to be happy about it since I never liked Jenson anyway.

As for your last line, another pathetic observation. I was celebrating Vettel winning the 2010 WDC (even changed my facebook pic lol) as I didn't want Alonso winning it. :hehe:

So, get off your high horse and stop painting all Hamilton fans with your crazy brush will you.

What, his amazing performance? Why is that shocking...

If they were talking about Lewis' win.....well.....open the floodgates. :D
#306689
not shocking, hints that he could be in trouble internally with the team and id expect that the way hes driving tbh but bit mad over the radio, thats why ted flagged it up

Honestly Vlad? Generalizations are never the strongest argument... So just to make you feel better, congratulations to Vettel on his amazing pole and fastest lap honors in Monreal.

I agree on the ease at which contracts can be broken. I'm just not convinced that McLaren go to that as a solution very often. If they do, they may ride out the rest of 2012 and 2013 will be the year that Jens is on thin ice—not because he's a useless driver but he simply can't cope long-term when there is stability with the regulations, the top cars are close in performance and all the top drivers are on their game. We know there was a huge disparity when he was with Brawn because of the big diffuser advantage they had. That really flattered his abilities over the course of a full year. It's dire for him now. I'll admit, I never saw this coming.

Awesome race by my boy Lewis and the team, even if there were a couple of hiccups in the goshdarned pitstops. Admirable how Alonso tried to save the race, and then didn't do anything stupid after realizing he was in trouble. Very mature.

Jenson, what the hell.

Very happy for Grosjean and Perez, those kids are good.
