i didnt say that they werent treated equally, just id respect them a bit more if they keep it neutral this time where they could favour lewis this year if they wanted

the loss of respect came from the furore last year

Forgive me, but I'm not certain I follow. Surely if McLaren we not 'neutral' last season, they would be favouring one driver over the other? Further, there was nothing and is nothing in the driver's contracts that says they are number one or number two and neither driver is being made an unofficial number one. The only time McLaren would favour one driver over the other is if one driver was out of the championship battle, it was getting towards the end of the season, and the other driver needed some support. That's common sense and any team would do it.

Right let's clear this up
I would respect mclaren more this year if they give the drivers equal treatment this year cause this year there is a possible cause to give lewis the greater backing cause he did well the previois year and hekki is the new boy

It would be tempting and oh so easy to back lewis this year so if they don't good!

Well thank's for editing your post AFTER I bowed down to your superior intellect .

As far as McLaren Fan's post I had actually typed a book but felt it was unnecessary and that I got carried away but now that you ask I will tell you.

What I find amusing is how any comment made with the name McLaren in it, hell we could be talking about Jordan, is an open book for the whinning and the pretentious 'we can do no wrong' or 'but this is why it happened' attitude that is portrayed! What I find amazing is the constant "chip on yall's shoulder's" and the willingness to blatantly start a debate or conflict because someone does not agree with yall's opinion or outlook.

Honestly the two of you, yes I know your the two biggest supporter's of McLaren here or atleast the one's who state their opinion the most, get so carried away that it's tiring and has become pathetic. I know the two of you have said and realized in the past that I, even a tifosi, love and respect McLaren, it's just the constant "school yard" bully attitude you give off that has become oh so very very tiring.

I have said my peace and this is only my opinion. Being from two different camp's we will never agree on 100% of most F1 thing's. Anyway if I did not have the two of you to argue with what fun would it be? I truelly like and enjoy our 'difference's of opinion' and you know I consider both of you my friend's and that I would gladly do anything for either one of you.

See the thing is a forum is all about opinions, its a debate, so if someone says something that i disagree with i will debate it! Simple

you talk of our tiresome defence but have you ever thought we get sick of hearing over and over the tiresome accusations thrown at McLaren this past year? i have not had to deal with so much heirsay and bullpoo about McLaren since ive been coming on F1 forums this past year!
There is so much bullpoo being said that WE are sick of the pathetic attacks being made towards McLaren
And here we are nearly 08 and people are still going on that Lewis was favoured over Fernando and in McLarenFans post all he is trying to sum up is that if that was so McLaren did a pretty shitty job of favouring him when they both finished on the same points the same wins. if only they really did favour ONE of their drivers they would have wrapped up the drivers title mid season
But hey if you would prefer us to agree with everyon and not debate the bullpoo being said then we might aswell not bother posting here

Could be something in that buddy, engine development frozen for 4 years with Mclaren 20hp ahead of everybody else pretty much hands the next two seasons to them.

Bud, you have to admit that McLaren supporters had it coming a long time. Their holier than thou attitude of 'we (=McLaren) don't do that' etc., was simply a too large target to not aim at when the spy/cheating scandal broke. Face it, McLaren got themselves kicked off the pedestal that you McLaren supporters placed them on. And that's a bit hard to swallow, hence the rather angry backlash from your corner. Get used to the fact that even McLaren cook with water like everybody else and that RD doesn't walk on water, as difficult as this reality check might seem at first
