Speaking of toenails, I once lost one during a performance of Macbeth, during my final year of training. Some guy with massive boots stamped on my foot whilst pretending to kill me. I was not amused.

I went to pick up some family yesterday in NYC so they could see my daughter's graduation ceremonies today. That Freedom Tower is looking pretty tall now... perhaps ready for the spire soon.

I am not superstitious in the slightest! Even after loosing a toenail, I will not descend to such irritating levels as branding Macbeth "The Scottish Play"... No sir....

I never realised until recently how superstitious the boating world is.
