ive never been too keen on kimi, schmacher always had desire to win but i think for kimi its more to do with the £££s
i do miss the time of schmacher he was always someone youd be proud of beating i thought

definitely the key to winning now is more reliability and consistency than raw speed as renault have shown winning two championships with perhaps not the fastest off cars, specially toward the end

i'm sure kimi is 100% committed during the weekend and as long as he gets results no one cares what he does during the week. I don't think any driver was or is as committed as shumi he was in a league by himself

My bad McLaren Fan, and everyone else, concerning my 'Kimi Era' comment my head was up my arse apparently .

I believe that the earlier disappointment's of not winning a WDC in a top car way have had him put off but now that he has won his WDC I see his focus now at 110%.

The Kimi era? I'd hardly say he's dominated the sport worthy of naming the epoch after him. The only drivers worthy of that or Senna, Prost and Schumacher.

what are you talking about kimi does not give 100%. He crashed in monaco in 2007 during quali and had to start 16th but he gave it his all and battled back to get 8th position and the single point that would eventually give him WDC

True, but doing well in races is not enough in the modern age. You have to be physically fit and committed to the team outside of Grand Prix weekends. I don't think Raikkonen does that. At the end of races, you can see he's more worn out than the others, making Montoya look fit.

Montoya IS fit!! He's naturally fit and strong Doesnt need to keep working out.
Senna was a sublime driver and could out psych the best of them but he wasnt fit and often finished races unable to hold up his head. Thats to take nothing from him....he still won!
