So yeah, pastor better clean up his act. Learn from kimi, alonso, button, vettel. All champions, all pretty clean.

Unless you're overlapping cucumbers. :hehe:

Just thought I'd get that jab in there before someone else does. I do not think that Vettel is responsible for that incident in any way.

Hehe that was not a bonehead move.... More of a bonehead mistake hehe

This isn't exactly new behaviour though is it? Schumacher, Senna etc...

On the other hand, when you see just how badly some people can get injured in crashes, to cause one deliberately is therefore very serious and should be dealt with accordingly! It has to be nipped in the bud before something serious happens.

Schumacher should have been excluded from the championship for what he did to hill in 94, just like he was from 97 with villenerve

but in my eyes the emotions when its a championship decider are obviously highly strung but pastor just seems to loose his head even in practice over stupid stuff, its just madness

To be honest, what with past antics of former protagonists, I'm not surprised he's still not changed. There's no pressure to do so, and there never has been. Look at Schumacher... he can win titles with such behaviour! As can Senna! :P:twisted::whip:

Maybe Pastor plays too much of the F1 2011 game, i know when i do a Qualifying lap on F1 2011 and someone is doing a slow in/out lap and they stuff up your fast lap, there is nothing more enjoyable than crashing them out, wrecking their car and making them retire from the Quali session. :hehe::D

But on Pastor, if he does do another one of his dirty antics on track, they will probably give him a bit more harsh penalty next time round than a 10 place grid drop.

How can anyone say a grand prix winner should not be in G1?
Unless it is post accident Massa.

What you have to think is that these guys are very focused and driven, who are under a lot of pressure. Some one bulked him and it has damaged his race. What he did is not really that different to Schumacher parking at razz cazz. He they can see what they wanted slipping away so try fight or flight

Well, maybe guys who are not good ambassadors of the sport should NOT be in G...err F1. :P

Example, Flavio Briatore was a hell of a team manager in my view. But he's not in F1 for causing a crash on intent, the same as Maldom*r*n. However, as ppl suggest, Maldo has big daddy's cash backing him up whenever he commits a crime on track.

Should Pastor Maldonado be in F1? YES! Should he have received tougher punishment? YES! He is clearly a talented driver but driving into another car because he is p*ssed off is unacceptable, I believe he should have been excluded from the qualifying session at minimum. I'm happy he crashed out of the Monaco GP, some would call that Karma!

Historically in F1 and other series, that kind of offense garners something worse than what he got, but nowhere near anything like lifetime ban. I would call a lifetime ban a bit extreme. He should have got something worse, plus a fine. But then it should be forgotten.
Schumacher once had a period where he constantly lunged laterally at the start. Most drivers complained, but JV, in the one thing he ever said that made sense, said if he's getting away with it then why should he stop?
Looks like Maldo can start ramming all the other cars off the road and win by being the only finisher. He'll just get a 10 place grid penalty.
#305251
He could be using it as a head game, which Ayrton Senna did well. things like people leaving the door open for him or Senna will have them off.

I bet Perez will think twice about getting in his way again.

Which is the problem; it like given Ferrari being given $100,000 fine for employing team orders, it's a nothing penalty, a 10 place grid drop is a nothing penalty, a 10 points deduction or a one race ban would be more of a deterrent. Racing incidents happen but this incident was as deliberate as it could be, Maldonado chopped across the front of Perez despite having plenty of room!

Should Pastor be allowed in F1?

:censored: yeah. The guy has flare.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Flare.... or seriously warped ideas on what is safe in a F1 car?

Flare. Webber proved in valencia 2010 that flying in the air and landing upside down is safe in a modern F1 car, so why not a good nudge??:twisted:

Webber should have been thrown out of F1 after taking off having assumed the Lotus position.

Dammit, forgot we're meant to like Webber and not like Maldo. I've had it the wrong way round. What are the chances?!
