Thinking about it; I do feel better if I've had an even number of hours sleep, even if it's just two hours!

I'm wondering why I stayed out for drinks, when this was the one night I could've got to bed early.

andrew called me young, and I'm 22. I call him old, and he's 28. The gap could not be more huge. :yikes:

Then again, while andrew's statement is obviously more observant and true than mine, both comments were made in jovial jest. :)

I must be a fossil by your reconings
Yeah, remember the black birds in the sky when you were a little boy? Newsflash: those weren't birds, those were pterodactyls!

I am older than that, they where not pterodactyls, they where the aliens that planted life on this planet. One day they will return to harvest their crop.

Some of their crop is already up and walking around among us.

3 billion years (maybe 6000 years depending on who you believe), the alien farmers must be on subsidies.

I was being deadly serious. You younger folks can't handle burning the wick at both ends. I work with a couple 18 year olds and I have to say they are about as much use as a smelly fart in a lift. No work ethic at all and they are the first to moan like hell when there is a mountain of work to get down, mainly down to the fact that they've been arsing about and not cracking on with what they're meant to be doing in the first place. Fools - you do the work then arse about.

Well please do not tar ME with such an odious brush, my dear! :yikes::(

To be fair, when I 1st started my job back in the late 90's all my seniors where saying "you young ones don't know your born we used to have to do x, y and z"

Now when we get green, wet behind the ears muppets who have no clue about what they are doing. I look disaproovingly at them and think the same. I would say it to them but with Anti Harassment, Anti Bullying, and Political correctness. I would probably end up in jail or something.
