Has anyone spoken about Perez' drive through penalty as yet? I found it freaking ridiculous...wtf did he do wrong anyway? The guy was coming into the pits, Kimi tried to stick his nose on the inside blocking Perez from entering, so what was he supposed to do? Not go into the pits? Unbelievable. :banghead:

Well, officially he was penalized for going into the pits too late, so instead of keeping right immediately after the corner, he trundled somewhere in the middle of the road which opened it up for KR.

Your right on the reason, they say that by not keeping to the right Kimi didnt know what he was going to do ie going into the pits so Perez was in the wrong.

Yeah but maybe Perez has a case saying that's the fastest line out of the corner before pitlane entry. Anyway, there wasn't even any contact, it was AVOIDED! Why penalize a driver for something that "COULD'VE" happened. F**king Maldam*ron intentionally turned in on another driver causing damage and risking both their lives and gets a 10 place penalty big freakin whoop!! Lewis stops a car on track when a session is over and gets a 24 place penalty, damn right :censored::censored::censored:

WOW what a rant, but an eloquent one at that :rofl::rofl:

If instead of Grosjean hitting Schumacher, it had been Maldonado hitting Perez, then the stewards would have blamed Hamilton for the incident.

Kinda changed it a bit. My bad.

Surprised Mansell didn't just blame Hamilton for it anyway.

You sound like a seasoned LL. :hehe:

Which one?

Perez with his move blocked/impeded KR - that's why he was penalized.

I suggest decaf for your predicament. :P

Has anyone actually blamed Schumacher?

He was an innocent bystander. It was the :censored: Grosjean again! :irked:

Didn't he also take Button and Hamilton out in his first GP in Spa?

More of a racing incident this time though, with more experience he might've realised he needed to move to the left sooner before getting squeezed by Alonso with is when he veered left into Schumacher who probably saw the whole incident unfolding but decided it was worth a shot.

Indeed Grosjean has form for antics during the early stages of races.

He should really have backed off and lived to fight for the rest of the race.

You can see pretty clearly that it was almost 4 wide with Alonso going at Hamilton, and there just isn't the space for that. Doesn't help that the 3 guys involved were basically in the blind spot of the guy in front either, AND i dunno how even these guys with their immense skill are supposed to be looking forwards at the guy very close to their car in front, and in their mirrors at the same time.

Racing incident (remember them?!?!), very simple.

The crash at the start was neither the fault of Schumacher or Grosjean. IMO, the whole thing was a racing incident.

I think you have missed the point of this thread.

Let me bring it back on track:

If Grosjean was Button, and Schumacher was Hamilton (AKA Canada), we all know who was at fault there.
