After the latest of his "Ram another car cos theyve annoyed me" stunts, and with his history of ignoring yellow flags and seriously injuring a marshall, do you think this guy is a danger to all the other drivers on the track? (not to mention the marshalls, pitcrews etc)

Personally i think this is strike 2 in F1, strike 3 he should be out of there.

Agreed, but money speaks loudest on this planet.

I ask the same question as you cheekybru, and I still have no answer for it.

What I think is a farce however is that his penalty was only a 10 place grid penalty. He should have been excluded for 3 races.

I do think he has talent however... but man... you would think he'd have learned from that incident with the marshal...

He also should have been penalised more severely when he did it to Lewis in Spa last year...

It should be:

First instance: Automatic disqualification from the race.
Second instance: Excluded for three races.
Third instance: Banned for 1 or 2 years.

This isn't exactly new behaviour though is it? Schumacher, Senna etc...

On the other hand, when you see just how badly some people can get injured in crashes, to cause one deliberately is therefore very serious and should be dealt with accordingly! It has to be nipped in the bud before something serious happens.

I don't ever remember Senna or Schumacher driving into anybody that was keeping out of the way

Yeah hitting drivers when not necessary is a real loss of control. That's the problem I think, he loses perspective or has an innate lack of respect. This is different from just venting.

Hitting people on purpose, same difference to me, circumstances are no excuse.

10 positions is a good statement. But hopefully he cleans up his act cause thats one thing that keeps from rooting for him..... Bit of a hothead, specially at monaco. Dangerous stuff. He does have good pace and several strong races, but gotta get his act clean. Even lewis who some people consider a balls out guy, is very respectful driver on the track. Yeah smudges of grey with some regulations, but hardly ever reckless stuff.

So yeah, pastor better clean up his act. Learn from kimi, alonso, button, vettel. All champions, all pretty clean.

Unless you're overlapping cucumbers. :hehe:

Just thought I'd get that jab in there before someone else does. I do not think that Vettel is responsible for that incident in any way.
