Mansell, doesnt like Lewis, Poor judgemet and low IQ. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Do you have any evidence for these three statements - or are they just your opinion?

Evidence.(well someone else mentioned low IQ , so I threw that in as well )

Links are on the previous page (i think the last ones gone dead so dont try that one)
But there'll be plenty more out there if you google it

SO have you put Mansell through an IQ test or seen his school certificates otherwise how would you know he has a low IQ?

[Hammer278]

Sometimes we can make good guesses about an individuals IQ from their interviews, or their decisions,...or their ^ posts.^

Practice times don't mean much, but, the little bits I saw of the F2012 looked good in regards to traction out of even these low speed corners. Massa also said the traction was much better. Those plus Nando's result in Spain make me think the F2012 is not far away from being right up there where the Tifosi want to see it

McLaren's Jenson Button says he believes Lotus are favourites to win the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend.

Button was fastest in second practice from Lotus's Romain Grosjean, but was the only driver to use the faster of the two types of tyre before rain.

"The cars that look very fast to me are the Lotuses," Button said.

"If you look at the runs, when they're out, they're very competitive, so I would say the Lotus is probably the car to beat this weekend."

Button's team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who was fourth fastest in the first session in the morning and 11th in the second, echoed those views.

He also predicted Red Bull would be competitive despite Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel having low-key days, with their highest position being seventh by Webber in the second session.

"I think the Lotus is massively quick," Hamilton said. "Not really quite sure what the Red Bull is up to but I'm sure they'll be quick. The Ferrari is very quick."

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was fastest in the first session and fourth quickest in the afternoon - and Grosjean said he expected the Spaniard to be a major force in Saturday's qualifying session and Sunday's race.

"Fernando in Monaco is always something special," Grosjean said. "They have a pretty good car now."

Grosjean added that he was confident of a strong showing in Monaco.

"We had a good day," he said. "The car is working pretty well, the baseline is good as well.

"It's always good to be in front in Monaco and get in some good laps. You really need to be confident with the car and we are on a good way to achieve that.

"I enjoy driving in Monaco, the feeling is unbelievable, playing with the guardrails.

"I did enjoy the day, the car is suiting me pretty well as well. I think we are on the way to know how we need to have it."

"For sure we will try to do everything to put it on pole. We are working quite well at the moment, but there is a lot of work to do and the others are not giving up."

Hamilton pointed out that Grosjean's time was closer to Button's than the performance differential between the two tyres, the 'prime' or 'soft' tyre and the faster but less durable 'option' or 'super-soft'.

Button set a lap of one minute 15.746 seconds, while Grosjean was 0.392 secs behind.

Hamilton said: "I don't think Jenson's time would be fastest.

"They say there's about six or seven tenths between a prime [tyre] and an option, and the Lotus did a 16.1 on the prime so if they put that on it means they are a little bit quicker.

"But I think Jenson has more time in him and there's more time in the others as well. I think we're in a good position nonetheless."

Button said he was reasonably satisfied with his car.

"The car has improved from first to second practice," he said.

"There was something with the car I didn't like in P1; we tried something different and it works. So I am happy with how the car feels but we're still not there yet.

"We were quickest but we were one of the only guys to do a lap on the super-softs.

"I don't think it's massively quick but the car feels OK, there is a lot of room for improvements we can make.

"It's not that we have a problem and don't know where to go from there. We know what direction to go."

Despite Hamilton's expectation that Red Bull would be competitive when it mattered, Webber said the team were struggling.

"It was not easy for us," the Australian said. "We have got some work to do in the next 24 hours. There are clearly some very quick cars and we have to improve our car."

Asked if he had a chance of pole position on Saturday, Webber said: "It will be very difficult. We have work to do."

Alonso said: "The first impressions are quite positive. We only made a few small modifications to the set-up, trying to improve it, but it's too early to draw conclusions.

"The weekend has got off on the right foot for us; now we must try to keep going down this path."

Well, i hope Button is right and i hope they can pull out the goods if so. But we shall see. Most predictions this season went out the window. I believe 6 winners in 6 would be completely unprecedented in F1!!

I'm a bit surprised that much is being made about favourites based on the first two practice sessions. The ususal suspects spent the better part of P1 on setups without trying for blazing quick times. P2 was a washout without the big hitters having a chance to have a go on the super-softs. This may be a bit of gamesmanship because early appearances have been very deceiving in practice sessions...and that's an understatement.

I'm just saying...

No, you're just assuming because Mansell does like the fact that Lewis was basically born into racing with a silver spoon from Mclaren, that in turn he is so jealous and petty he will do what he can to make sure Lewis gets all the penalties he can.

But please, go on not supporting your own biased crap. When some one asks you for a source, you give it. I don't have time to go searching for something, which is probably what you intended because when someone with a scrap of their own IQ looks into it, you can cleary see that Mansell is not out to get hamiliton.

Case in point: http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2011/08/m ... -hamilton/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If he was really out to get lewis and didn't care what anyone thought about it, don't you think he'd just say naw no penalty needed, and he would in turn try to turn it around on Hamiliton?

I mean, after all, if he has no IQ, that would be the obvious thing and Idiot would do.

He is REALLY arrogant though.

WOAH! You need to chill! I did give a source. In fact I gave three. Did you miss them? Would you like me to find you some more? If it's a little tricky for you doing searches.

Anyone who has read anything about Mansell knows he is very intelligent.
To get people's opinions on Mansell's intelligence, you don't ask someone who has never met him. You ask all the people he has been close to. Ask Sir Frank, Carl Haas, Mario Andretti, Ron Dennis, Anyone who was his teammate or tem boss or race engineer etc. If you don't like how some driver steward ruled because it was AGAINST Lewis, it does not automatically make that driver steward unintelligent.

But that doesn't mean he isn't going after Lewis for some reason.

BTW what time do they paint the parking space at Racasse for Schumi?

Yea, I've already thought of that. I'll get around to it one day when I finish my profile. Not much of a priority.

I'm just saying ( )...

Because he is a 7-time WDC, Bernie has set up a special valet parking for Schumi only. He can park, get out and cross the street to the pub right there on the corner.

YES IT DOES, IT'S A CONSPIRACY, REMEMBER?!?! aaaaaaahahaha i'm kidding

Doing alright around a track Luca always whines about of late... Wonder what he'll say if Ferrari wins?

You are right I was being flippant about the lack of intelligence, I have no idea about his intelligence...though some of his utterances seem to suggest a lack of thought. Just hope he goes easier on Lewis this weekend.

[bud]

What makes you think he'll even have go easy on Lewis? What's he going to do wrong?

I think RC has come to expect that Lewis will do something wrong and then half the internet will blame Mclaren
