Renault made their last pit-stop later than most other teans, so would've been on fresher tyres when low on fuel (which is how Kimi made up loads of time on Alonso), although the car does seem to have good pace anyway.

Ok. that would make sense if the times were taken towards the end when his 3rd set of tyres were getting worn.......but then I see Rosberg's name high up and he was falling backwards But maybe only at the very end. Those charts must surely change considerably depending when in the race, or session, they were taken.

Those charts mean squat. Fast cars (Redbull/McLaren) which were stuck in midfield VS top 6 cars which had clean air throughout, especially this year fastest laps/sector times are less relevant than even pole position.
