:hehe: Like Whitmarsh's timing to start heaping lavish praise on Hamilton after years of disrespect. :P He's now said he deserves to win the Monaco GP :rofl:

Did he actually use the word "deserve?" How about simply not screwing him up so he can earn the win. Ground-breaking concept, I know. :P

Yep he used the word 'deserve'

Interstingly, coinciding with Whirmarsh's sudden change of affection is the fact that lewis is not interseted at this moment in time in discussing the renewal of his contract, he wants to concentrate on winning the championship and may not want to talk contracts until at least August. He has instructed his management team to put out feelers but doesnt want to be involved yet. Mercedes are already interested, Red Bull might be. Mclaren at present fall short of his requirments both monetary and in other areas, though they have said they want him on board.
Now theres nothing like the prospect of loosing your teams greatest asset to reign in the wayward behaviour.

He appears to have a pretty good relationship with Horner so I'm inclined to think there would be real interest at Red Bull. My gut tells me though, He'll stay at McLaren but not on another 5 year deal. Probably something shorter...one or two years. Just guessing...who really knows.

Lewis has no reason to rush into anything at the moment. he's doing the right thing. Be nice if he stayed at Mclaren but McLaren need to sort a few things out.

Yes, it would be nice if he stayed. He fits well with the McLaren "personality." I suppose being in the family since age 13 helps.

He won't necessarily do better anywhere else anyway. I mean, WHERE the f!ck would he go? Yeah, case closed. :P

Greatest asset?
Just remember Lewis is a driver hired to race a car like any other driver on the grid. A teams greatest asset does not lie in one person who's time at the team is limited.

I didnt mean greatest asset ever! Of course that changes.

More hormonal teenage type gushing from Whitmarsh in Autosport;

"His team boss, though, has vowed to do all he can to right the wrongs, saying he will "make sure" everything is in place to help Hamilton become this season's sixth grand prix winner."

I am just a little concerned about the language he uses and the cut and thrust of his message

Because... obviously... it's a conspiracy! Don't you see?! Gosh.

Errm, a conspiracy is when at least two parties conspire against a third

Therefore a conspiracy would imply organisation and competent planning

How do the gushing idiotic ramblings of edited add up to a conspiracy for you?

Please know the definition of big words before deploying them

If that's the definition, then teenage girls conspire all the time. :hehe:

Yes they do. So maybe there's scope for Whitmarsh to begin a conspiracy after all :hehe::hehe:
