Indeed! But I'm well in the know, when it comes to the digitalis family of plants, so the necessary precautions were made. :)

Hopefully it'll grow well.

Yeah, would be heart breaking if we lost such a promising talent so early...

The pollen contains up to 80% digitalis and this pollen can be found on neighboring plants stamens when they are in bloom. This effect can cause accidental digitalis exposure if the exposed stamens of other plants are consumed in any way by humans. During the peak pollen production, in some areas the pollen floats heavily in the air and will stick to exposed surfaces.

:director: So NONE of this :flasher: for you anymore!

They are pretty. In Wales where my cottage is they grow like weeds. They must love the acid soil. I leave a lot of them but sadly some have to come up because they swamp other things. Ferns are abundant there too. Hope yours does well :)

ps. What happens if I go for a moolight walk in the garden in Wales and get foxglove pollen all over me? Good or bad things? :P

Heart stopping not good. Licking pollen off by Druid, Hmmm. Ive google the images of Druids and theyre very hairy. However if you google druid men, theyre a different bread  Pollen licking could be the better option :P
