Even with tyre ware Monaco is a nightmare to pass anything.If your good enough nothing can pass you ,even on old rubber.I suppose there is the pit stop lottery,although it's more of a hazzard than a lottery being a McLaren fan
I hope your right,but i try not to get to excited about Monaco these days,then if it is a good race all well and good.
Why would Sunday be a bore? The tightest track in the world with tyres which degrade almost magically, and end up in a cliff....and the possibility of 11 cars like you said on a similar pace? It's going to be magic. Sad part for me is I'd be overseas in a relatives house, instead of my own private quarters where I could've enjoyed it in peace.

We've had the fuel one very recently so maybe that one will be ok. Two races in a row would be......but then wheel things have happened in 3 races in a row, so one never knows. So barring screw-ups Lewis to win, with Kimi thereabouts. Nando and Vettel 3rd and 4th(either way round)
