Saw it live on the BBC Red Button TV Forum. Shocking. Never seen anything like that. :(

How'd you get the red button forum? I didn't. It was football or some rubbish like that in these parts. :irked:

I pressed the red button! There it was. Of course, you'd have to wait till the main program finished.

That's strange. It worked fine for me.

By the end, it was just Jake, EJ, DC and Gary trying to present in a paddock full of smoke.

Wow! That looked like quite a fire. Hope everyone's ok.

Don't think I ever have partied as hard as Williams Grand Prix after a victory. :cloud9:

I'm kidding. Hope those affected by it will be alright. Pretty crummy thing to happen.

I wonder how much money will be lost in the repairs/replacement of parts. For a private team I would think that would be devastating.

It's likely that whatever exploded on Senna's car was due to the incident with Schumacher.

So....the headlines for Williams' fire tomorrow should be? "Schumacher's wrath"? :hehe:

Looking at the photo of the aftermath of the fire (posted in the Spanish GP thread), it looked like Senna's car was untouched, whether or not the KERS unit had already been removed is unknown!

It's just sad to see this happened as the team celebrated their first win in eight years!

Looks like a fault with the KERS unit. Apparently Senna's car had just been returned to Williams when the explosion happened. The car would have been sitting trackside with no cooling so probably something overheating and the movement of the car was enough to set off the KERS unit going pop.
