Rumours are that Kazakhstan are planning to build an F1 grid.

Malaysia's National News Agency has reported that Kazakhstan government minister Askar Mamin is in Kuala Lumpur to stage talks about the running of Astana airport.

Mamin has also stated that he hoped to engage the help of Malaysia Airports to establish 'a racing circuit' near the airport in Kazakhstan.

Also, Spain’s Valencia circuit wants to join the calendar...Apparently, F1 has had a resurgence in popularity in recent times thanks to Alonso and so Valencia want to host a second Spanish GP from next season.

The Ricardo Tormo track has become one of Formula 1’s most popular testing venues because of its modern facilities and usually benign weather however there are concerns that the circuit is too tight and 'busy' for F1 cars and the start straight is also on a slope which could cause problems although if their proposal was accepted, the circuit owners would be prepared to change various aspects of the circuit.

Personally, I would prefer to see only one circuit per country....
