The interpretation of the observation are down to the individual, but Ive also included in my opening post some undisputed facts

I don't think that if Lewis thought he was being... Picked on by Mclaren that he would still be with the team. I am sure that most teams on the grid would having in their car for the next race

The reward at the end of the road renders all feelings of alienation tolerable. Hamiltons knows that he HAS TO FIGHT AGAINST MCLAREN no matter how badly he is treated, to get:

1. Three World Championships with Mclaren
2. The Mclaren F1-LM
3. Mclaren WCC
4. Respect - from ALL f1 viewers/ fellow drivers/ the media/ FIA members - Respect from all F1 stakeholders
5. Vindication
6. Acknowledgement that he is the fastest, smartest, most talented driver in F1
7. Acknowledgement that he is the most technical driver in F1
8. Acknowledgement that he can adapt to all conditions and beat any World Champion that faces him

It's all about pride.

For me, personally, Under any and all conditions, Lewis Hamilton MUST WIN 3 WDC with Mclaren.

This is my take on the conspiracy.

It is real.

I think it is Bourne out of simple politics and cultural familiarity. Lets face it guys, we like heroes and leaders who have qualities that we have, or qualities that we would like to have. It could be how one looks, where he comes from, the way he speaks, how he dresses or how he treats others. Any characterisation you can think of.

I have worked in many institutions where I am in a supervisory role, and I have a bias or preference towards a certain person or group of people. And I have done, and may do again in the future, to pull strings, or even put a finger on the scales, to get a certain person that I prefer the job/money/positions etc. all because I like them more than the other person.

You sound a bit desperate here :hehe:

Isn't an observation a fact? An incorrect observation can't be a fact can it? Splitting hairs, I know, but it's what I do. :D

No an observation is not a fact, because one person may interpret what they observe one way and another person may interpret it another way. A fact is indisputable. I would agree with your second point that an incorrect observation cannot be a fact. Thats why I said my initial post was made up of observations AND facts.

Problem is it depends on how close you're observing,
You're making factual claims through Hubble telescope when you need to be looking closer say through a microscope!
And how do you know your facts are in fact facts?
#301547
typically in a conspiracy there is something worthy gaining in return for causing the conspiracy, I don't think Whitmarshes chances of getting butt umpalumpa from jenson are at high enough odds that he can risk losing lewis.

:hehe:

As a matter of fact, I fact-check that my facts are facts before and after the fact.

Another fact: one cannot add a mod to one's "foe" list. :(

:scratchchin: Hmmmm. Now if one really did want to move in the direction of mad conspiracy theorioes one might wonder if one of his "disturbingly good looking boys" had turned him down

Yes the closer you are the clearer it is to see, I agree. But remembwer I didnt claim observations to be facts. They are two different things

Now without getting into the........ I exist therefore I am debate.......
A few of Facts I mentioned..
-Jenson prefers understeer/Lewis oversteer
-Jenson's engineer is considerably older than Lewis
-Mclaren reorganised their team when Hikki left?Jenson arrived
-Lewis has had a lot of pitstop/strategy problems that have affected the outcome of his race
-Jenson likes the car set up 'just so'

So has Jenson this season and probably more than Lewis in his time at McLaren. You never notice Jensons bad luck because you're too concerned with Lewis. Therein lies the problem with this conspiracy crap, you're only looking at it from one point of view. As opposed to someone who is a fan of the team who sees two sides of the garage or someone not a fan of the team or drivers.

Hello racechick

If I may I'm uncertain if there is a conspiracy yet I am not saying you are wrong. I find F1 much more enjoyable when I just let the cards fall were they may ie the only thing that matters is what happens on the track and the final results. I watch and record on my old timey VHS and then wait for the next race, less stress and I keep my foot out of my mouth (I think you are familiar with that lol).

All the best,
tex :)

Hi Tex :wavey: ,
I dont think theres a conspiracy either, I'm just a little perturbed by some things I see and looking for answers. I WISH I could follow your example and just enjoy the race as it unfolds. I think Im too far gone for that
Cheers Tex

This season he's only had one bad pitstop and he wouldnt have caught Rosberg even without it. His styrategy has been good and helped him get past other cars..including his team mate.
Lewis has had three bad pitstops that have cost him positions and points. And he's had bad strategies that have allowed other cars including his team mate to get past him. Im afraid whether you like it or not, that is fact.
#301575
Lewis wants to test the car to try to improve it. Jenson cant go becasue he's comitted to a demo at Budapest. So Lewis isnt allowed to go. That says a lot. I wonder what would have happenned were the positions reversed....Now let me guess.
Who's calling the shots at McLaren???
